Material Handling
ETHAFOAM Packaging Products delivers non-crosslinked foam solutions for material handling applications commonly found in the automotive, computer and medical device industries. For Class A dunnage applications, ETHAFOAM products prove to be an effective solution, offering a returnable, recyclable alternative to expendable packaging.
ETHAFOAM™ SYNERGY™ 1000 and ETHAFOAM™ SYNERGY™ RCA P4 are strong, resilient, closed-cell foams perfect for applications that require both toughness and a soft touch. Proprietary Dow custom-designed polyethylene creates a rugged foam with enhanced cushioning and low-abrasion properties. This foam is suitable for dunnage and cushioning components in packaging applications.
Replacing crosslinked foam with ETHAFOAM™ SYNERGY™ soft touch foam can reduce costs while maintaining required levels of quality, durability, softness and 100 percent recyclability. These products offer important scratch protection and are perfect for blocking and bracing products during inter-plant transport.
ETHAFOAM products provide low-abrasion properties for the most sensitive packaging needs, combined with unmatched durability – all at a significantly lower cost than crosslinked foams.
