Trymer™ 2000 XP polyisocyanurate pipe insulation is a polyurethane modified polyisocyanurate cellular plastic supplied in the form of bunstock. It can be fabricated into sheets, pipe shells and other shapes for a variety of thermal insulation applications.
Trymer 2000 XP insulation is suitable for applications that require a flame spread index of 25 or less and smoke developed index of 50 or less when tested per ASTM E84 (insulation thickness up to and including 1 inch or 2.5 cm) and a smoke developed index of 55 up to and including 1.5 inches or 3.75 cm. At thicknesses of 1 inch (2.5 cm) or less, Trymer 2000 XP pipe insulation is safe for use as pipe or duct insulation in a return air plenum.
Dow is the only polyisocyanurate manufacturer to achieve a third-party 25/50 listing.
